Wheww; your subject line had me thinking you drove into a newly formed sinkhole in Queen Creek--willingly--to avoid today's high temperature.

If you do decide to take the plunge, swing by and pick me up--I'll be lounging in the moat (even the crude oil you stock it with is "refreshing" by comparison).

It's things like these blazing AZ summers that have given rise to one of the more practical products I've seen:

I’m not sure how that would work in the Florida humidity!

I’m going to have to disagree with you about this NTAW. Generally speaking it’s a throwaway song but in this case Jerry rips an excellent solo and this version is perhaps the best they did and fit in perfect with the jam leading up to it.

Good call on the show- this is a top 3 for 1981.

Point taken. Yeah, Jerry does some great work, but I still get hit hard when the NTAW starts off, even with the smooth transition. Reminds me of the Don't Need Love from Augusta '84. As a standalone it is probably the best version of that tune, but it still hit me the wrong way in that setting. Perhaps I'm just too sensitive. Don't tell the wife.
